Addressing a review meeting in the State Secretariat here, Mr. Meena said the administration in all districts would inspect the small and big dams and arrange for their repairs. Preparations will be in place to evacuate the affected people to safe areas during emergencies.

The meeting was attended by State Government officials, police personnel and representatives of Army, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited and meteorological office.

Mr. Meena issued instructions to make prior arrangements for distributing food material, clothes and other essential items during floods and said the departments concerned would inform the people about these measures through their control rooms to be established at the State and district levels.
