20 Nepali girls rescued from circus

GONDA, JUNE 15. Two employees of a circus were arrested today for allegedly forcing minor girls into child labour while 20 such girls, all residents of Nepal, were rescued from the circus team.

The Superintendent of Police, Amitabh Thakur, said that four workers of a non-governmental organisation were beaten up by the circus crew when they went to rescue them. — UNI
