Award for Nagarjuna Fertilizers

HYDERABAD: Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL) has been awarded the `cleaner production award' for `good practices' by the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB). A release from NFCL said environment protection continued to be an avowed corporate philosophy, and the responsibility extends much beyond the confines of compliance with statutorily stipulated standards. The award is in recognition of this corporate philosophy and the company stands committed to keeping it up in future also, it said. — Our Special Correspondent
