BankMuscat, Centurion Bank sign pact

MUMBAI, JUNE 15. The Oman-based BankMuscat and Centurion Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly tap and develop the NRI business across the Gulf Co-operation Council region. "This MoU will allow Indians across the GCC to access the Centurion Bank footprint in India, through the BankMuscat network in the Gulf," BankMuscat CEO, Abdul Razak Ali Issa, said in a release here today. BankMuscat has a strategic 26 per cent stake in Centurion Bank with whom it also merged its erstwhile India operations early this year. — PTI
