Counselling likely from July 10

HYDERABAD, JUNE 15. Counselling for engineering courses is likely to be held from July 10.

"Though we are prepared to conduct counselling by the end of the month, the seat matrix will become clear only towards the second week of July as admissions into the IITs and BITS Pilani will be completed by then," officials of the Technical Education department said.

Also, the All India Council for Technical Education is still to give its nod to the final list of the number of engineering seats and colleges in the State for the academic year. "The list is expected by June 30 and only then will we be able to decide on the date. But counselling will definitely begin in the second week of July," officials said.
