Two farmers commit suicide

KURNOOL, JUNE 15. A farmer, identified as Neelakantappa (50), committed suicide at Jalimanchi village in Adoni mandal on Tuesday.

Reports said the farmer, who had suffered heavy losses in agriculture, ended his life by consuming pesticide.

KHAMMAM: Vadagani Veeraiah (40) committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Punyapuram village of Wyra mandal.

The farmer's family reportedly tried to prevent him, but failed. Reports say Veeraiah had debts to the tune of Rs. 2.5 lakhs, and was being harassed by moneylenders.

He had four acres of land.
