VIZIANAGARAM, JUNE 15. P. Prakasa Rao, a constable attached to the one-town police station, allegedly killed his two sons by giving them pesticide mixed in a soft drink and himself attempted suicide in a lodge here around midnight of Monday. According to the one-town police, the constable checked into the lodge along with his two sons - Santosh Kumar (9) and Sarat Kumar (7) - around 10.30 pm. He allegedly mixed the pesticide brought along with him in a soft drink and gave it to the children. After consuming the drink the children raised an alarm which drew attention of the hotel staff. The staff immediately alerted the Rakshak team. The team broke open the doors and carried the two children and the constable in the van to the district headquarters hospital.
