WIMBLEDON, JUNE 16. Despite being ranked only 10th in the world, Serena Williams will be seeded No. 1 for Wimbledon.
The seedings were more straightforward for the men, with the top four following the rankings. Defending champion and top-ranked Roger Federer is No. 1, followed by Andy Roddick. Guillermo Coria, the losing finalist in the French Open, is No. 3, with 2002 Wimbledon runner-up David Nalbandian at No. 4.
Bhupathi-Mirnyi
duo seeded third
India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi have been seeded third, while Leander Paes, who will play with Czech Republic's David Rikl, is seeded 11th in men's doubles.
