`Steps afoot to complete pending projects'

By Our Staff Reporter

GUNTUR, JUNE 16. The State Government is determined to complete all pending projects, the Minister for Cooperation, Kanna Lakshminarayana, has said.

At a public meeting at Lingapuram village in Pedakurapadu on Tuesday, he said the Government was keen on farmers' welfare.

Addressing people at several villages in Amaravathi and other villages in Pedakurapadu constituency, the Minister said the Government was coming to the rescue of farmers in all possible ways by providing them with remunerative price for their crop and resorting to market intervention wherever needed. The waiver of power bill dues and free power to farmers were some of the measures so far taken by the Government, he said.
