Admission to UK universities

CHENNAI, JUNE 16. Representatives from four universities in the United Kingdom will be in the city between June 18 and June 26 to meet prospective students, create awareness about the courses offered and explain the admission procedure to the institutions.

The University of Glamorgan's representative, Claire Hobbs, will meet students between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on June 18. The university, according to a press release, offers over 200 courses in arts and humanities, social sciences, engineering and construction, science, design, computing technology, business and law, nursing and midwifery, accounting, mathematics and electronics.

On June 23, Amanda Kerns, representative of London South Bank University, will meet students from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arts and human sciences, business, computing and information management, engineering and science are some of the areas in which the institutions offers courses.

The University of Wolverhampton too offers courses in applied science, art and design, computing and information technology, education, engineering, health, humanities, languages and social sciences, legal studies, sport, business, performing arts and leisure. Its representative Jasbir Singh, will meet students between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on June 23.

On June 26, from noon to 5 p.m, the University of Liverpool representative, Ursula Henry, is scheduled to meet students. The university offers courses in architecture and building engineering, arts, biological sciences, chemistry, communication studies, computer science, dentistry, finance, health sciences, human anatomy and cell biology, immunology, law, management, material science and engineering.
