KURNOOL, JUNE 17. An unidentified gang robbed passengers of Rs. 70,000 near Chippagiri in Kurnool district on Wednesday night. According to reports, ten persons boarded the bus at Alur which was bound for Guntakal and threatened the driver when it was nearing Chippagiri. Later, the gang relieved a passenger, Nagamohan of Rs. 65,000 and the conductor of Rs. 5,400. The police are investigating the case.
Jewellery stolen
An Unidentified gang broke into the house of a bank employee and took away jewellery worth Rs. one lakh at RVS colony in Adoni town last night. According to reports, the gang broke the lock of the house and took away the valuables. The inmates of the house were away. The police are investigating the case.
