Karting caravan rolls into Delhi

NEW DELHI,
JUNE 17.
The Delhi leg of the MRF-MAI National karting championship will be held at an improvised track in Gurgoan on Sunday. Twenty regulars and 80 enthusiasts from Delhi have entered the fray with qualifying scheduled for Saturday.
The championship starts with free practice on Friday with two qualifying rounds scheduled for Saturday. Ten drivers in each section will make it to the finals on Sunday.
The championship is being conducted in three categories INKC (Indian National karting championship, above 15 years) over 30 laps; K-INKC (Kadet - Indian National karting championship, 10-15 years) 18 laps; and KCT (Karting championship trophy, above 15 years) 25 laps.
The championship then moves to Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Bangalore in that order.
