Karsolia, Kannan in title clash
GURGAON,
JUNE 18.
Krishna Karsolia and Navaneetha Kannan set up a title clash in the boys' under-18 section of the AITA Super series tennis tournament at the NTA Complex here on Friday.
In the girls' section, Vishaka Sheoran and Isha Toor made it to the final.
The results:
Boys' under-18 (semifinals): Krishna Karsolia bt Abhinav Bora 6-2, 6-1; Navaneetha Kannan bt Kinshuk Sharma 6-3, 6-4. (Quarterfinals): Krishna Karsolia bt Nithyaesh Nataraj 7-6(7-1), 6-1; Abhinav Bora bt Manjit Singh 7-5, 6-1; Kinshuk Sharma bt Nitish Raj 3-6, 7-5, 6-1; Navaneetha Kannan bt Ronak Mehta 6-3, 7-6(8-6).
Girls' under-18 (semifinals): Vishaka Sheoran bt Jilke Nelord 6-2, 6-1; Isha Toor bt Neha Singh 7-5, 6-2.
