Pahari Dhiraj wins

NEW DELHI, JUNE 18. Kunal Banerjee's 99-ball unbeaten 81 and Raman Gujral's run-a-ball 63 (5x4, 1x6) steered Pahari Dhiraj to a 91-ball win over L. B. Shastri Club in the first round of the 40th DDCA hot weather cricket tournament here.

The scores: Pahari Dhiraj 250 for five in 40 overs (Kunal Banerjee 81, Raman Gujral 63, Hemant Singh 49 n.o.) bt L.B. Shastri Club 159 for eight in 40 overs (Rohit Yadav 43, Sarfaraz three for 23).
