GUNTUR, JUNE 18. G. Sushma beat Rishika Sunkara 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) in the girls' semifinals of the all-India ranking AITA Talent Series under-14 tennis tournament at the NTR Sports Complex here on Friday.

The results:

Girls: Singles (semifinals): G. Sushma bt Rishika Sunkara 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5); Radhika bt Sindhura 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. Quarterfinals: Rishika Sunkara bt Meghna Suresh 6-1, 6-2; G. Sushma bt Divya Rana 6-2, 6-1; R. Sindhura bt P. Jyosana Roop 6-2, 6-0; Ch. Radhika bt D.G. Harshini Reddy 7-6 (7-3), 6-3.

Doubles (semifinals): Divya Raana and Radhika bt Yashika and Deepthi 9-4; Rishika and Harshini bt Spoorthi and Revanthi 9-5.

Boys: Singles (semifinals): N. Yeshwant bt S. Surya 6-2, 1-6, 7-6 (7-4); M. Gopinath bt Rithvik Sunkara 6-1, 6-2. Quarterfinals: N. Yeshwanth bt K. Pradeep Reddy 6-0, 6-3; S. Surya bt Alla Srikar 6-4, 6-2; R. Sunkara bt Ch. Rajasekhar 2-6, 6-3, 6-1; M. Gopinath bt Divya Naana 6-2, 6-1.

Doubles (semifinals): Omar Farooq and M. Gopinath bt Chetan Pandit and K. Pradeep Reddy 9-6; Yeshwant and B. Sunil bt Rajasekhar and Atul Roy 9-8 (7-5).
