50 houses gutted

GUNTUR, JUNE 18. Fifty thatched houses were gutted in a fire mishap in Swarnabharati Nagar in Guntur on Friday, but no casualties have been reported so far. Three fire engines were trying to douse the fire late into the night. The fire, which began in a house close to Vignan College at 6 p.m., spread to others within 15 minutes.
