Merchem workers' protest on June 28

KOCHI, JUNE 18 . Workers of the Eloor-based Merchem Company will take out a march to the company premises on June 28 demanding reinstatement of the workers who had been dismissed from service.

The march will be taken out under the aegis of a combine of trade unions, said a press release here today. The Samyukta Samara Samithy decided to take out the march at a meeting in Kalamassery on June 17, said the press release.

Leading trade unions, INTUC, CITU, BMS and AITUC are part of the trade union combine.
