CHENNAI, JUNE 19. In a move to accommodate ruling party functionaries, the government today named 15 political appointees to head various state-owned corporations in Tamil Nadu. The list includes the Housing Board, the Tourism Development Corporation and the Textbook Corporation. The new Chairpersons of the corporations are: R. Murugaiah Pandian - Agricultural Marketing Board. Edapadi K. Palanichamy - Cements Corporation. M. Paranjothi - Medical Services Corporation. Sindhu Ravichandran - Small Industries Development Corporation. Ku. Thangamuthu - Textbook Corporation. Adhi Rajaram - Tourism Development Corporation. M.G. Srinivasan - Tea Plantation Corporation. A. Arunmozhi Dhevan - Housing Board. V. Saroja - Adi Dravidar Housing Development Corporation. P. Sendur Pandian - Medicinal Plant Farms and Hebal Medicine Corporation. M. Jayraman - Backward Classes Economic Development Corporation. R. Amirthaganesan - Fisheries Development Corporation. M. Ravichandran - Handicrafts Development Corporation. Justin Selvaraj - Minorities Economic Development Corporation. V. Marudaraj - Salt Corporation. A former Chief Secretary, Sukavaneshvar, who was Chairman, Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation, has been shifted to head the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation, following the retirement of P.V. Rajaraman.
