Vashisth stars for Anand Sports

NEW DELHI, JUNE 20. Bhargu Vashisth's spell of three for 26 fashioned Anand Sports' eight-wicket win over K.N. Colts in a first round match of the DDCA hot weather cricket tournament at the Mohan Meakin ground near here on Sunday.

The scores: Anand Sports 184 in 37.3 overs (Akash Talwar 70, Anand Mishra three for 37) bt K.N. Colts 176 in 39 overs (Joel Trinidad 47, Saurabh Srivastava 34, Bhargu Vashisth three for 26).

Madras Club 183 for six in 30 overs (Varun Sood 79 not out, Varun Sharma 31, Kamal Chopra 30, Saurabh Saxena three for 20) bt Universal Club 177 in 30 overs (Jaspreet Narula 35, Saurabh Saxena 34 not out, Vijay Bhardwaj 32, Bharat Grover four for 40).
