Absolute coalition

Sir, — The era of coalitions has come to stay. The Common Minimum Programme is ruling the roost. A motley group of parties with no common minimum ideology has no problem accepting a CMP to stay in power.

It is time to forge an absolute coalition of all elected parties and project a CMP which will include issues acceptable to all the involved parties.

K.R. Mohan,
Chennai
