Trade union leader dead

NAGPUR, JUNE 21. The senior advocate and trade union leader, Rajan Pillai, died here following a massive cardiac arrest yesterday. He was 66. Mr. Pillai is survived by two sons and three brothers. The cremation was held this morning.

Mr. Pillai, a close associate of Communist Party of India General Secretary, A. B. Bardhan, was rushed to a private clinic here last evening after he complained of chest pain.

The last rites were performed at `Mokshadham' crematorium.

Mr. Pillai was the working president of the All-India Electricity Workers Federation, affiliated to the All-India Trade Union Congress. - UNI
