PONDICHERRY, JUNE 21 . The house of a college teacher at Bharati Nagar, near here, was allegedly burgled on Friday night. The miscreant is said to have hidden himself inside the premises after gaining entry through the backyard. When the inmates were asleep, he decamped with two gold rings, a cellphone, electronic goods and cash. The inmates noticed the theft in the morning. The Lawspet police have registered a case. A few days ago, the house of another teacher in Kumaran Nagar in Lawspet block was burgled.
