NEW DELHI, JUNE 21. Two alleged members of the Kishan Pehalwan gang have been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police. Also, the police have brought Kishan Pehalwan to the Capital from Rohtak jail for interrogation in an extortion case. Following a tip-off, a Special Cell team intercepted two persons at Nangloi in West Delhi when they were going in a Black Scorpio on June 19. They were found to be in possession of .38-bore revolver, along with five live cartridges and one country-made revolver (.315-bore) with one live cartridge. Those arrested have been identified as Pradeep Surayan (26) and Pradeep Nangal (20), both residents of Rohtak. The duo told the police that they were returning to Haryana after attending a fashion show in Janakpuri, West Delhi. Meanwhile, the Delhi police today brought Kishan Pehalwan, who was lodged in Rohtak jail, on three-day police remand to the Capital after taking permission from a city court in Rohtak. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), Ashok Chand, said one person had earlier been arrested in connection with an extortion case reported from Nangloi. On the basis of his revelation, the police decided to interrogate Kishan Pehalwan.
