The Modi affair

Sir, — This refers to the editorial, "L'affaire Modi" (June 22). Between Narendra Modi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the two probable `super scapegoats,' there were other elements whose one-point hate campaign eclipsed even the good work done by the BJP-led NDA Government. And if the BJP hardliners continue with the campaign, they will be in for more trouble.
