Somasekhara panel re-appointed

HYDERABAD, JUNE 22. Justice B. K. Somasekhara has been appointed once again to head the Commission of Inquiry into the Yeleru land acquisition scam.

A Government Order appointing the retired Judge to head the probe panel was issued on Monday, nearly five years after the Commission was wound up by the then Telugu Desam Government in December 1999. All the terms and conditions of the Commission of Inquiry as they existed in 1999 will remain in force.
