KURNOOL, JUNE 22. The MP, Kotla Suryaprakasa Reddy, and the Collector, Ajay Jain, visited the Government General Hospital here on Tuesday and examined the services offered to patients. The Hospital Superintendent, Hanumantharayudu, and the RMO, explained the need for setting up cathlab for the department of cardiology to take up bypass surgeries, C-arm for orthopaedic ward, central oxygen supply system for important wards and lift facility for Acute Medical Care unit. Mr. Reddy promised funds under the MPLADS for development of hospital which caters to the needs of several neighbouring districts. He also asked the hospital authorities to prepare a comprehensive report for the development of the hospital so that he could take up the issue with the Government.
