By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, JUNE 22. The All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Pondicherry State committee secretary and legislator, A. Anbalagan, today said there was a `deadlock' between the Congress Government here and the Lieutenant Governor, N.N. Jha, following comments made by the Congress MLA, R. Kamalakannan, against Mr. Jha. Mr. Anbalagan sought the intervention of the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, to ensure that there was no dislocation in the working of the government. Talking to presspersons, Mr. Anbalagan said Mr. Kamalakannan had made vituperative comments against Mr. Jha and said that he would boycott the Lieutenant Governor's address to the Assembly on July 5 during the budget session.
