PONDICHERRY, JUNE 22. The Central Federation of the Health Department Employees has welcomed the directive of the Nursing Council of India that once a college of nursing was started there should be no revival of the diploma course in general nursing and midwifery. This is despite a section of employees insisting that the Administration should continue to run the school of nursing without upgrading it to a college.
