LUCKNOW, JUNE 22 . A court here today sent the main accused in the BJP leader Malti Sharma murder case, constable Raj Kumar Rai, to four days' police custody. The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Amarjit Tripathi, passed the order on a remand application moved by the police seeking custody of Rai, who has been suspended from the service, for recovering major evidences like the weapon used in the crime, the purse of the victim as also the money paid to him to carry out the murder. Rai along with BJP Corporator Alka Misra and property dealer Deepa Singh are presently in judicial custody in connection with the murder of Sharma who was killed on June 7.
