Gymnasts' camp from today

HYDERABAD, JUNE 23. The national coaching camp for gymnasts will be held at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium here from June 24 to July 11, according to M. Balraj, secretary of the AP Gymnastics Association.

Mr. Balraj said that the Gymnastics Federation of India this had reached this decision, considering that the gymnasts should have an advanced training programme ahead of the hectic schedule next year.

The Hyderabad camp for 25 gymnasts features Rohi Jaiswal of Uttar Pradesh, the horizontal bar silver medallist at the Junior Asian championship last year, and other familiar names such as Mayank Srivastava, Hyderabad's B.N. Shiva Kumar and A. Sarat Chandra.

The coaches panel includes A.V. Giriraj, G. Ravinder, D.K. Rathore, Anjan Das, B.L. Bayaskar, D.K. Banerjee and Tajender Singh.
