Govt. will last its term: Patil

By Our Correspondent

KARWAR, JUNE 23. H.K. Patil, MLC, on Wednesday hoped that the coalition Government in the State would complete its term.

Talking to presspersons here today, Mr. Patil said the Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh, had vast experience in politics. The coalition set-up would not be a hindrance in taking decisions on issues of public importance. About the representation to Uttara Kannada district in the Cabinet, Mr. Patil said he would convey the wishes of the people of the district to the Chief Minister. On being denied a berth in the Cabinet, Mr. Patil said people's admiration for his work was a great reward to him. He said the KPCC President, B. Janardhan Poojary, had announced the support of the Congress to the Janata Dal (S) candidate, Basavaraj Horatti, in the election to Legislative Council from the teachers' constituency.
