HYDERABAD, JUNE 23. The Rayadurgam police on Wednesday arrested an youngster, Devender, who allegedly threatened to kill a girl if she did not accept his love. A resident of Manikanda village, Devender, was a dancer. He had been charged with harassing the 17-year-old girl. He intercepted the girl while she was walking on the road, held her hand and reportedly intimidated her saying he would `re-enact' the Vijayawada episode, apparently referring to the brutal murder of Sri Laxmi by a classmate, Manohar. Based on the girl's complaint the police have registered a case of criminal intimidation against Devender.
