HYDERABAD, JUNE 24. The fee structure for the MBA, MCA and law courses apart from engineering has been finalised by the Fee Fixation Committee headed by the former High Court judge, Bayyapu Reddy, and sent to the colleges concerned. The fee structure will be applicable for three academic years. In the case of non-minority colleges the fee will be Rs. 20,000 for the 85 per cent of MBA/MCA seats under Convenor quota while the managements can fill the rest 15 per cent with a fee not exceeding Rs. 60,000. Similarly, the fee will be the same for minority colleges for the 30 per cent Convenor's quota and the 55 per cent seats to be filled with minority students only. However, the managements can collect up to Rs. 60,000 for the remaining 15 per cent seats. The committee decided to fix at Rs. 22,000 for 85 per cent seats in non-minority colleges in the engineering stream. For the management quota of 15 per cent, the fee should not be more than Rs. 75,000. In the minority colleges, the fee for 30 per cent of Convenor's quota as well as the 55 per cent seats to be filled with minority candidates is Rs. 22,000. Management quota fee should not be higher than Rs. 75,000. The same would be applicable for pharmacy and architecture courses. For LLB course, the annual fee for 85 per cent of Convenor quota seats is Rs. 6,500 while the managements can collect up to Rs. 25,000 for their 15 per cent quota in the non-minority colleges.
