Budget proposals positive: FAPCCI

HYDERABAD, JUNE 24. The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) has welcomed the State budget, provisions like the 95 per cent higher outlay for irrigation at Rs. 4,245 crores and setting up of Agriculture Technology Mission.

The FAPCCI president, O. P. Goenka, in a press release here said that the allocation of Rs. 933 crores for agriculture and allied sector was a positive step. The decision to promote energy crops such as Jatropha for production of bio-diesel was praiseworthy, he added.
