Show-cause notice served on Sanghis, says Minister

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD, JUNE 24. The Labour Minister, G. Vinod, on Thursday refuted the charge that no action was taken against the Sanghi industries, for employing child labour and said a show-cause notice had been served on them. The issue came to light after they met with a road accident, when they were being ferried back home.

Addressing a press conference, the Minister said investigation was now in progress from all angles and a report was expected in a day or two. He would make a detailed statement in the Assembly shortly and there was no question of shielding any one. "Law will take its course."
