Three killed in accident
By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
JUNE 24.
Three persons, including two girls, were killed and 11 others injured when an A.P.S.R.T.C. bus of the Narayanapet depot hit against a lorry coming in the opposite direction at a turning near Kanakamamidi gate in Moinabad police station area on Thursday.
The bus was going from Hyderabad to Narayanapet via Parigi. Skid marks on the road suggested that the bus driver was on the wrong side, the Moinabad police said. While the lorry driver, Kashappa (30), died on the spot, his assistant suffered injuries. Identity of the two girls, one aged about 15 years and the other 12 years, was yet to be established. The injured were shifted to the Osmania General Hospital.
