AP Police fails to turn up

HYDERABAD, JUNE 25. Young Turks Hockey Club got a walkover from Andhra Pradesh Police in the A-1 division league hockey championship at the Begumpet astro turf ground here this evening.

In the junior State championship at the Gymkhana ground, Tarband XI defeated RBC HC 5-1. B. M. Rakesh (2) and Anish Kumar (3) scored for Tarband while Yousuf was RBC's scorer.
