Boycott to give tips to `Team India'
KOLKATA,
JUNE 25.
Celebrated English batsman Geoffrey Boycott will offer his expertise on batting to Indian cricketers during a two-week stint offered by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), in July. Announcing this on Friday, the BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya said that Boycott would be starting with `Team India' and spend a couple of days (on July 4 and 5) with the players in the preparatory camp for the Asia Cup at Chennai. Thereafter he will move over to Bangalore and "would be mainly attending the under-19 trainees and the India `A' team that would leave for the tour to Zimbabwe and Kenya later in month.''
Dalmiya said that Boycott has been roped in as a part of "BCCI's endeavour to bring in more and more specialists so that the youngsters could be benefited.'' Our Sports Reporter
