Pricol SC keeps winning

COIMBATORE, JUNE 26. Pricol Sports Club scored its sixth straight win defeating Sara Elgi Sports Club by a 3-0 margin in the Mahendra Pumps `A' division football league organised by the Coimbatore District Football Association at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday. The men who came good for the winning team were Sam, Gopi and Vincent Rajamanickam.

In another match, Bakthavatchalam and Ian Thomas scored one apiece to steer Thiagi NGR Football Club to a 2-0 win over Asoka Football Club.

At the Avanashi grounds, Babu's double strike and Prakash's thumping right-footer enabled Avinashi Sports Club carve a 3-1 win over Premier Mills Sports Club. Baskar played a stellar role for the loser with a neat effort later in the game.

Earlier, LEC Football Club, thanks to Jaiganesh and Vimal scored a 2-0 win over a much-fancied PSG Sports Club.
