Ajmal drubs Union

NEW DELHI, JUNE 26. Ajmal Khan Club drubbed Union Club 6-0 in a group II match of the Delhi Soccer Association `B' division league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.

Ajay, Ritesh (two each), Parash and Yuvraj did the scoring to help Ajmal open its tally after three outings. Union remained pointless following its second successive defeat.

In a group III match, Goodwill overwhelmed Nivia 5-0. Lalit, Abhishek (two each) and Shalender did the scoring. Goodwill's third straight victory took its tally to nine points. This was Nivia's first match in the competition.

At the Nehru Stadium ground, Columbus drew goalless with Young Bengal Association while Shakti drew 1-1 with Golden Stars. Ricki scored for Shakti and Manish Goyal equalised for Golden Stars.
