Hat-trick by Esmond Carryer

BANGALORE, JUNE 27. Esmond Carryer's hat-trick guided Mysore District XI to a 3-1 victory over Dharmaraja Union in a Prasanna Kumar Memorial football league Group D match at the Football Stadium here on Sunday. Esmond struck in the 34th, 39th and 63rd minutes while Elangovan scored Dharmaraja Union's lone goal in the 30th minute.

In another Group C match, Southern Blues trounced Davangere District XI 13-1. Nirmal Kumar (3), S. Kumar (3), Manju (2), Kishore (2), Satish, Santosh and Sudhakar scored for the victors while Pramod chipped in Davangere's solitary goal.
