50 feared dead in boat-capsize

JAUNPUR, JUNE 27. Fifty persons were feared dead after a boat ferrying devotees capsized in the Gomti river at Chandwak in Uttar Pradesh this morning. Police said seven bodies of women and children were recovered.

However, 46 others, mostly women and children, were still reported missing.
