Elected to Press Club

BANGALORE, JUNE 27. Arakere Jayaram, Chief of Bureau, The Hindu , Bangalore was re-elected president of the Press Club of Bangalore, at its annual elections here on Sunday, according to a press release.

The other office-bearers who were elected included Y.G. Ashok Kumar of Karunada Sanje (vice-president), K. Sadashiva Shenoy of Lankesh Patrike (general secretary), K.M. Veeresh of Chitraloka dot.com (secretary) and S. Shantaram of Hosadigantha (treasurer).

Those elected to the Press Club's managing committee include N.S. Shankar, K.B. Pankaja, N.H. Mruthyunjaya, Keshav Vitla, G.S. Narayana Rao and K.C. Sadananda, the release added.
