Addressing a press conference here, she said out of the 805 lifts constructed in the district, only 428 were in working condition. She said electricity dues of 227 schemes were yet to be cleared, 22 dysfunctional transformers that had been left to idle were to be revived, the motors of 28 lifts needed to be replaced and 26 needed to be fitted with pipelines. The Minister said about 50,000 acres in the district would benefit from the revival of these schemes.
