In another case, a 26-year-old man was stabbed to death by the first husband of his lover at Mukherjee Nagar in North-West Delhi today. In the first incident, Rekha, who had been pursuing her studies from an open school, was found dead near her bed this morning. Her relatives claimed that last night they had slept in a room adjacent to hers but did not hear any commotion. The police said there were five stab injuries on her neck and a cut on the cheek revealing that she had been assaulted. Rekha had failed this year for the third consecutive time. The Vasant Kunj police have registered a case of murder and are awaiting the post-mortem report for ascertaining the exact cause of Rekha's death and to find out whether she had been physically assaulted. Meanwhile, the questioning of her friends and relatives are on. In the other case, Jaspal, a resident of Indira Vihar jhuggi cluster was stabbed in the neck by the husband of his lover, Jamuna.
