Prakash, Rushmi head AITA rankings

MUMBAI, JUNE 28. Prakash Amritraj and Rushmi Chakravarthi top the All India Tennis Association (AITA) half-yearly singles ranking for men and women.

An AITA release issued here on Monday said Davis Cupper Prakash Amritraj leads the table with 835 points.

He is followed by Harsh Mankad on 480, Sunil Kumar Sipaeya on 330, Rohan Bopanna on 285, Vinod Sridhar on 160 and Mustafa Ghouse on 145, according to the rankings as on June 21.

The release also said Rushmi leads the women's table with 285 points. She is followed by Megha Vakharia (262.5), Sania Mirza (248.75), Isha Lakhani (220), Ankita Bhambri (182.5) and Sai Jayalakshmi (121.25).
