Vijayawada
By Our Special Correspondent
VIJAYAWADA, JUNE 28. The Vijayawada MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal, on Monday visited the Krishna River Beach Resorts project, being jointly promoted by VGTM-UDA and Daler Tourism Corporation Ltd (DTCL). As many as 27 bathing ghats and 30 changing rooms were being built at a cost of Rs 3 crores. While the UDA is providing the basic amenities in the ghats and rooms, the DTCL has taken up the construction. While the project was estimated to cost Rs 20 crores, arrangements are being made for Pushkarams in the first phase, said the authorities concerned. The resorts would be constructed in a stretch of one kilo metre or in an area of 40 acres.
