S. Babu (51, four for 35) and P. Venkatesh (five for 23) helped Sachin CC register a 29-run victory over Vignesh Sports Club in the Indian Bank - Dindigul District Cricket Association first division league here on Sunday.

Sachin CC 142 in 41.2 overs (S. Babu 51) bt Vignesh Sports Club 113 in 34.4 overs (V.L. Suresh Ekambaram 30, N. Achuthan 25, Ranjith Kumar 28 not out, P. Venkatesh five for 23, S. Babu four for 35).
Majestic CC 125 in 27.3 overs (R. Ganesh 46, P. Mohankumar five for six, M. Karthik three for 15) lost to Nike CC, Oddanchatram 126 for eight in 27 overs (G. Ranjith 43, R. Ramachandran three for 29).
Jahir CC, Vedasandur 158 in 29.5 overs (S. Muthukumar 53, S. Vivekanandan five for 20, Mahesh four for 48) lost to Mansur Youngsters CC 159 for three in 31.5 overs (Saravana Kumar 50 not out, Mahesh 34).
