SHIMLA, JUNE 28. Seven Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Ministers submitted their resignations to the Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh, today to facilitate the downsizing of the Ministry before July 6. This was disclosed by the Chief Minister who returned from Delhi today after holding discussions with the Congress high command. The Ministers who have resigned are the Tourism Minister, Vijay Singh Mankotia, the Revenue Minister, B.B. Bhutail, the Industry Minister, Ram Lal Thakur, the Education Minister, Asha Kumari, the Transport Minister, G.S. Bali, the Cooperative Minister, Kuldip Kumar and the Civil Supplies Minister, Singhi Ram. The State Power Minister, Vidya Stokes, who is also the PCC chief, has not resigned and has said she would do so whenever she is asked to.
