Most RJD Ministers resign

By K. Balchand

PATNA, JUNE 28. Responding to the Chief Minister, Rabri Devi's call most of her colleagues belonging to the Rashtriya Janata Dal, including senior Ministers, have sent in their resignation letters so as to give her a free hand in curtailing the size of the ministry in requirement of the new law. Only those Ministers who are away from the capital have not been able to comply with the directive.

However, the eight Congress Ministers, four of them of the Cabinet rank, have not taken any decision, though they maintained that they were ready with their papers.
